An amazing music evening with Dr Shampa Dewan to be held on Thursday

Dhaka November 10 2021 :

An expatriate resident of London, the most popular singer of Europe Dr Shampa Dewan is bringing an amazing single performance extravagant musical event this winter evening.

This extraordinarily attractive evening is organised by Rotarian (Rotary World class leader) Showket Hossain & Nasreen Ara Surat at Kamal Ataturk Avenue, Bonani, Dhaka on 11 November 2021.

Dr Shampa Dewan was born in Dohar Upojela in the district of Dhaka. Since her childhood Dr Shampa excelled in all branches of vocal music.

-Her education in music started with Robindra Shongit where her teacher was the famous Ustad Bhorot Chandra Das.

-Her teacher of  Nazrul shongit was the great Ustad Yakub Ali Kan and Lew J Barrou at Dhanmondi Lalitkola Accademy.

-Dr Shampa was trained in Uchchango shongit by the infamous Ustad Shanjib Dey.

-Currently she is being coached in Uchchango shongit by the talented Ustad Mir Shaheb.

Dr Shampa Deawan is a listed artist of Bangladesh Television and Radio.

She has performed 5 Bangla songs as the playback singer for the Dallywood films.

She has done duet songs with popular artists such as Polish and Late Androkishore.

Dr Shampa’s first Album was published and marketed by Sound trek.

Dr Shampa Dewan a physician by profession but she has upheld the musical performance and cultural activities at the centre of heart in her busy life.

She is the founder Principal of London Shilpokola Academy. Her prime aim is to teach the British Bangladeshi children Bangla & Bengali culture in the foreign land and enrich their patriotism towards their mother land and their roots.
