BUP VC calls on President

 

DHAKA, July 21, 2022 (BSS) –

 

President M Abdul Hamid today asked the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) authority to attain the capacity of using new technologies and methods to continue the education program at the world’s changed circumstances. 

The head of the state came up with the directive as BUP Vice-Chancellor (VC) Major General Md Mahbub-ul-Alam paid a courtesy call on him at Bangabhaban here this evening.

During the meeting, the BUP VC informed the President about the overall activities of the university, including academic and infrastructural development, President’s press secretary Md Joynal Abedin told BSS.

Referring to the global lethal disease, Hamid said the Covid-19 pandemic is now making people think of a new way about their life and living.

At the era of globalization, the President put emphasis on enhancing research activities along with formulating the contemporary academic curriculum.

At that time, President’s Office Secretary Sampad Barua, Military Secretary Major General SM Salah Uddin Islam, Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin and Secretary (Attachment) Md Wahidul Islam Khan were present there.
