Certification award ceremony held for Energypac Future Leadership Program

Aiming to provide training and hands on experience to the engineering students of the country and develop them for a better professional career Energypac, a pioneering name in the energy, power and engineering services sector of the country, organized “Energytic Future Leadership Program intake-1” at the beginning of this year and recently awarded the students with certificates in an event.

The Energetic Future Leadership Program Intake-1 certification program was held at ‘Energy Points’ located in the capital’s Tejgaon. Dr. Mohammad Tamim (Dean, Faculty of Chemical and Materials Engineering, BUET) graced the event as the Chief Guest. Energypac’s Independent Director Nurul Amin and Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer Humayun Rashid were present as Special Guests.

Students who successfully completed the leadership program were presented with official certificates by Energypac at the event.

Humayun Rashid, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Energypac, said, “To elevate the country’s engineering sector and keep pace with the innovative future trends and diverse market demands, we need to make the next generation of engineers more efficient and competent. The response we have received from the young students since the beginning of this event till today is overwhelming. We initiated our Intake-1 with the top 25 chosen out of over a thousand aspiring engineering students, and we hope to extend this program in the future to help more students develop their careers”.

Energypac initiated the Energetic Future Leadership Program with the objective of empowering engineering students in their respective fields and helping them advance their careers fundamentally through networking and training. The program’s cross-functional experience, experiential learning and leadership development training empowered the youth through unique experiences. The 3-month long leadership program provides hands-on and virtual trainings to the students.

সনদ পেলেন এনার্জেটিক ফিউচার লিডারশিপ প্রোগ্রামের প্রথম ইনটেকের অংশগ্রহণকারীরা

দেশের বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রকৌশল বিভাগে অধ্যয়নরত শিক্ষার্থীদেরকে ক্যারিয়ার  গড়তে সহায়তা করার লক্ষ্যে চলতি বছরের শুরুতে “এনার্জেটিক ফিউচার লিডারশিপ প্রোগ্রাম” এর উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করে জ্বালানি, শক্তি ও ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং সেবা খাতে দেশের খ্যাতনামা প্রতিষ্ঠান এনার্জিপ্যাক পাওয়ার জেনারেশন লিমিটেড (ইপিজিএল)। সম্প্রতি এক বর্ণাঢ্য আয়োজনের মাধ্যমে এই প্রোগ্রামটির ইনটেক – ১’এর সফল অংশগ্রহণকারীদেরকে সনদ প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

রাজধানীর তেজগাঁওয়ে অবস্থিত এনার্জিপ্যাকের কার্যালয় ‘এনার্জি পয়েন্টস’এ “এনার্জিপ্যাক ফিউচার লিডারশিপ প্রোগ্রাম ইনটেক-১ এর অনুষ্ঠানটির আয়োজন করা হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ড. মোহাম্মদ তামিম (ডীন, কেমিক্যাল এন্ড ম্যাটেরিয়াল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং ফ্যাকাল্টি, বুয়েট)। বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন প্রতিষ্ঠানটির স্বতন্ত্র পরিচালক নুরুল আমিন এবং ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক ও প্রধান নির্বাহী হুমায়ুন রশীদ।

এনার্জিপ্যাক ফিউচার লিডারশিপ প্রোগ্রাম ইনটেক-১ সনদ প্রদান প্রোগ্রামে সফলভাবে কোর্স সম্পন্নকারী শিক্ষার্থীদের হাতে এনার্জিপ্যাকের পক্ষ থেকে আনুষ্ঠানিক সনদপত্র তুলে দেওয়া হয়।  

অনুষ্ঠানে এনার্জিপ্যাকের ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক ও প্রধান নির্বাহী হুমায়ুন রশীদ বলেন, “দেশের প্রকৌশল খাতকে এগিয়ে নিতে এবং ভবিষ্যতের উদ্ভাবনী ধারা ও বৈচিত্র্যময় বাজার চাহিদার সাথে তাল মিলিয়ে চলতে হলে আমাদের আগামী প্রজন্মের প্রকৌশলীদেরকে আরো দক্ষ ও কর্মক্ষম করে তুলতে হবে। এই আয়োজনের শুরু থেকে আজকের দিন পর্যন্ত আমরা তরুণ শিক্ষার্থীদের কাছ থেকে যে সাড়া পেয়েছি, তা নিঃসন্দেহে অভাবনীয়। ১ হাজারেরও বেশি আগ্রহী প্রকৌশল শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্য থেকে সেরা ২৫ জনকে নিয়ে আমরা আমাদের ইনটেক-১ চালু করেছিলাম, এবং আশা রাখছি ভবিষ্যতে এই কার্যক্রমকে প্রসারিত করার মাধ্যমে আমরা আরো অধিক সংখ্যক শিক্ষার্থীদের ক্যারিয়ারের উন্নয়নে সহযোগিতা করতে পারবো”।

মূলত নেটওয়ার্কিং ও ট্রেনিংয়ের মাধ্যমে প্রকৌশল শিক্ষার্থীদেরকে নিজ নিজ খাতে আরো দক্ষ করে তোলা এবং ক্যারিয়ের কে আরও এগিয়ে নিতে সাহায্য করার লক্ষ্য নিয়ে “এনার্জেটিক ফিউচার লিডারশিপ প্রোগ্রাম”টি চালু করে এনার্জিপ্যাক। প্রোগ্রামের ক্রস-ফাংশনাল এক্সপেরিয়েন্স, এক্সপেরিমেন্টাল লার্নিং এবং লিডারশিপ ডেভেলপমেন্ট ট্রেনিং অংশগ্রহণকারী তরুণদেরকে অনন্য অভিজ্ঞতার মধ্য দিয়ে আরো পরিণত করে তোলে। শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রত্যক্ষ ও ভার্চ্যুয়াল অংশগ্রহণ মিলে এই আয়োজনটি মোট ৩ মাস ধরে কার্যকর ছিল।
