Ambassador Li Jiming and H.E. Mr. Md Tazul Islam, Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives jointly inspected the Dasherkandi STP project on August 21 2022.
In the course of the inspection, both sides expressed the recognition and praise to the project construction team and the completion and operation of the project, and expected the Chinese and Bangladeshi governments and enterprises to continue deepening cooperation in the future, said a recent release by the Embassy of China in Bangladesh.
Minister Tazul considered the project to be of special significance for the friendship between China and Bangladesh, thanked the Chinese company for actively participating in the project construction, the Chinese Embassy for actively promoting the project construction, and expressed his sincerest gratitude to the Chinese engineers, managers and technicians for their hard work.
Liu Zhenhua, Economic and Commercial Counselor, Le Liwen, Cultural Counselor, and Taqsem A Khan, Managing Director of Dhaka WASA accompanied the inspection.
