Dhaka Russian House celebrated the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh’s victory in the War of Independence 

 Dhaka December 21 2021 : 

The Russian House in Dhaka jointly with Liberation War Affairs Academy Trust in cooperation with Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy organized a set of events dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh’s victory in the War of Independence.

The commemorative celebrations were launched by the Minister of Public Administration of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Member of Parliament, Farhad Hossain. During the festive ceremony, he spoke about the role of the Soviet Union in the struggle for the freedom of the Bengali people, the contribution of the USSR to the post-war development of the country and the formation of the national economy, noting that it is difficult to imagine modern Bangladesh without this help.

In his speech, the director of the Russian House in Dhaka, Maxim Dobrokhotov, thanked for the kind words addressed to Russia, honored the memory of those who gave their life and congratulated still living veterans on this important event.

During a week, a photo exhibition was held in the Russian House, as well as took place some commemorative events on the occasion of this significant date.

মহান বিজয়ের ৫০তম বার্ষিকী উদযাপন করেছে ঢাকার রাশিয়ান হাউস

ঢাকার রাশিয়ান হাউস মুক্তিযুদ্ধ বিষয়ক একাডেমি ট্রাস্টের সাথে যৌথভাবে বাংলাদেশ শিল্পকলা একাডেমীর সহযোগিতায় স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধে বাংলাদেশের বিজয়ের ৫০ বছর পূর্তি উপলক্ষে একগুচ্ছ অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করে। গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকারের জনপ্রশাসন মন্ত্রী, সংসদ সদস্য জনাব ফরহাদ হোসেন এই স্মারক উদযাপনের সূচনা করেন।

উৎসবের অনুষ্ঠানে তিনি বাঙালির মুক্তির সংগ্রামে সোভিয়েত ইউনিয়নের ভূমিকা, যুদ্ধোত্তর দেশের উন্নয়ন এবং জাতীয় অর্থনীতি গঠনে ইউএসএসআর-এর অবদানের কথা বলেন। এই সাহায্য ছাড়া আধুনিক বাংলাদেশ কল্পনা করা কঠিন।

ঢাকার  রাশিয়ান হাউসের পরিচালক ম্যাক্সিম দোব্রোখোতোভ তার বক্তৃতায় রাশিয়াকে সম্বোধন করা কৃতজ্ঞতার কথার জন্য ধন্যবাদ জানান, মুক্তিযুদ্ধে যারা তাদের জীবন দিয়েছেন তাদের স্মৃতিকে সম্মান জানান এবং এই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অনুষ্ঠানে আগত জীবিত প্রবীণদের অভিনন্দন জানান।

 রাশিয়ান হাউসে সপ্তাহব্যাপী একটি ফটো প্রদর্শনী অনুষ্ঠিত হয়, সেইসাথে এই স্মরণীয় উল্লেখযোগ্য তারিখ উপলক্ষে কিছু অনুষ্ঠানও অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।
