DPS STS School Celebrates Graduation Ceremony for Class of 2022

Dhaka 3 July’ 2022 :

DPS STS School Dhaka has celebrated its “Graduation Ceremony 2022” on July 01, 2022.

The program held at the DPS Senior Section Auditorium, where a total of 111 graduates received their diplomas. Ayman Alam was awarded as the Valedictorian, and gave his special speech during the Graduation Ceremony.

The program commenced with Surah recitation and National Anthem, followed by the Graduating Classes’ entry to the stage, the each of the students had the opportunity to receive their certificates and take photos with the Principal and Vice Principal. After the individual and group photo sessions, Principal of DPS STS School Dhaka Dr. Shivananda CS delivered his inspiring speech.

“It is wonderful to be in the presence of such brilliant and ambitious youth this evening, as we mark our Graduation Ceremony 2022”, said Dr. Shivananda CS. “We all know that the Covid-19 times have been very difficult, but your resilience, courage and engagement have brought you to this Graduation time and the many joys and possibilities that await you in future years! I am elated that we are once again rejoicing this joy here in our campus, unlike the previous years when we had to do it virtually. Congratulations to all the students and their parents! I am wishing you every success for the chapters ahead”, he added.

Valedictorian Ayman Alam highlighted the unique academic experiences at DPS STS, and acknowledged the cooperation of the teachers thoroughly. He said, “I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate all of our teachers, classmates and parents for the endless support they have given us over the years. Their support and cooperation have helped us throughout our journey here at DPS STS School and led us to this stage.”

Later in the evening, several music and dance performances embellished the celebration. A special video was also shown reminiscing precious moments of the graduating class, which left the students and the guests in a state of nostalgia. It was a wrap, as the students finally threw their hats off in the air ‘officially’ as graduates, and proceeded for the grand dinner. Tarana Majid Ahmed (Head of Senior Section) and Afrin Khan (Head of Department, Business Studies, DPS STS Senior School) received the credits for organizing the event successfully.

ডিপিএস এসটিএস স্কুলের গ্র্যাজুয়েশন সেরেমনি-২০২২ অনুষ্ঠিত

ডিপিএস এসটিএস স্কুল ঢাকার এ বছরের গ্র্যাজুয়েশন সেরেমনি অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। গত ১ জুলাই  ডিপিএস সিনিয়র সেকশন অডিটোরিয়ামে এই অনুষ্ঠান অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। ডিপ্লোমা অর্জন করেছেন এমন ১১১ জন গ্র্যাজুয়েট অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন। অনুষ্ঠানে ভ্যালেডিক্টোরিয়ান হিসেবে বিশেষ বক্তৃতা প্রদান করেন আয়মান আলম। 

সূরা তেলাওয়াত ও জাতীয় সঙ্গীত গাওয়ার মধ্য দিয়ে অনুষ্ঠানটি শুরু হয়। এরপর গ্র্যাজুয়েট শিক্ষার্থীরা মঞ্চে উঠে তাদের সনদ গ্রহণ করে এবং স্কুলের প্রিন্সিপাল ও ভাইস প্রিন্সিপালের সাথে ছবি তোলেন। ব্যক্তিগত ও দলীয় ছবি তোলার পর ডিপিএস এসটিএস স্কুল ঢাকার অধ্যক্ষ ড. শিবানন্দ সিএস বক্তব্য প্রদান করেন।

অনুষ্ঠানে ড. শিবানন্দ সিএস বলেন, “গ্র্যাজুয়েশন সেরেমনি-২০২২ অনুষ্ঠান মেধাবী তরুণদের উপস্থিতি অত্যন্ত আনন্দদায়ক ও আশাব্যঞ্জক।” তিনি আরও বলেন, “কোভিড-১৯ আমাদের সবার জন্যই অত্যন্ত কঠিন ছিলো। কিন্তু অদম্য তারুণ্য, সহনশীলতা ও সাহসের কারণেই সঙ্কটপূর্ণ সময় কাটিয়ে এ গ্র্যাজুয়েশন অনুষ্ঠান অনুষ্ঠিত হচ্ছে। ভবিষ্যতে গ্র্যাজুয়েট হওয়া শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য অপেক্ষা করছে অফুরন্ত সম্ভাবনা ও আনন্দময় সময়। শিক্ষার্থীদের সাথে আবার ক্যাম্পাসে গ্র্যাজুয়েশন অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত হতে পেরে আমি উচ্ছ্বসিত। সকল শিক্ষার্থী ও তাদের অভিভাবকদের অভিনন্দন! আমি জীবনের প্রতিটি ক্ষেত্রে শিক্ষার্থীদের সাফল্য কামনা করছি।”  

এ সময় ভ্যালেডিক্টোরিয়ান আয়মান আলম ডিপিএস এসটিএসের অ্যাকাডেমিক অভিজ্ঞতা সবার সাথে তুলে ধরেন এবং শিক্ষকদের প্রতি ধন্যবাদ জ্ঞাপন করেন। তিনি বলেন, “আমি আমার সব শিক্ষক, বন্ধু এবং মা-বাবাকে ধন্যবাদ জানাতে চাই। জীবনের এ পর্যায়ে আসতে তারা আমাদের যথেষ্ট সহায়তা করেছেন। তাদের সহযোগিতার কারণেই আমরা ডিপিএস এসটিএস স্কুলের এই পর্যায় পর্যন্ত পৌঁছাতে পেরেছি।”

পরবর্তীতে, সংগীত ও নৃত্য পরিবেশনার মাধ্যমে অনুষ্ঠানটি উদযাপন করা হয়। এ সময় গ্র্যাজুয়েশন ক্লাসের বিশেষ মুহূর্তগুলো স্মরণ করে বানানো একটি ভিডিও দেখানো হয়। পরে শিক্ষার্থীরা গ্র্যাজুয়েট হিসেবে তাদের টুপি বাতাসে উড়িয়ে দিয়ে মুহুর্তটি উদযাপন করেন। গ্র্যান্ড ডিনারের মাধ্যমে অনুষ্ঠানটি শেষ করা হয়।

সফলভাবে এই অনুষ্ঠানটির আয়োজন করেন তারানা মজিদ আহমেদ (সিনিয়র সেকশনের হেড) ও আফরিন খান (ডিপিএস এসটিএস সিনিয়র স্কুলের বিজনেস স্টাডিজের হেড অব ডিপার্টমেন্ট)।
