EQMS and CAPS signed agreement with DoE for monitoring noise pollution

EQMS and CAPS signed agreement with DoE to conduct noise measurements and public awareness initiatives.

EQMS and CAPS signed an agreement with the Department of Environment as part of the noise measurement and awareness program, on 16 December 2021.

EQMS and CAPS recently signed a joint agreement with the Department of Environment of the Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change to conduct a one-year noise quality measurement and awareness campaign in 64 districts across Bangladesh as part of the Integrated and Partnership Program on Noise Pollution Control. Md. Humayun Kabir, Additional Director General of the Department of Environment and Director of the Noise Pollution Control Project, attended the signing event, as did Kazi Farhad Iqbal, Executive Director of EQMS, and Prof. Dr. Ahmad Kamruzzaman Majumder, Chairman of CAPS. Khandaker Mahmud Pasha, Assistant Director, Department of Environment, Md. Zahidul Islam, Senior Consultant, EQMS, Ahmed Zubair, Assistant Consultant and Chemist, and Abdullah Al Naeem, Head of Research, CAPS, were also present at the event.
