GP STAR customers to enjoy exclusive privileges at Star Tech

Grameenphone, the connectivity partner to Digital Bangladesh, has recently signed an agreement with Star Tech & Engineering Ltd, one of the leading tech retailers of the country, where GP Star customers can purchase electronic and digital devices with discounts, while also ensuring brand and seller assurance. 

As per the agreement, Grameenphone’s STAR customers (GP STAR) will be entitled to claim up to 35 percent discount on selective products from Star Tech & Engineering Ltd. They can also enjoy 5 percent discount (up to BDT 500) on any other products. The agreement enables STAR customers to enjoy an exclusive deal on laptop purchases as well.

The agreement was signed at the Star Tech Head Office in Bangla Motor. Sabbir Ahmed, Head of Marketing, Premium Segment, Grameenphone; and Mazharul Alam, Managing Director, Star Tech, signed the deal on behalf of their respective organizations.

Star Tech Managing Director Mazharul Alam said, “Grameenphone, being the digital enabler of the nation always tries to provide the best for its’ customers. Similarly, at Star Tech, we invariably put customers before us when it comes to top-notch products and services and this collaboration will help consumers to get their preferred electronic and digital devices. However, this partnership would be beneficial for both sides, which will greatly enhance brand impression of both the brands through customer satisfaction.”

Star Tech has been offering authentic and reliable electronic products like computer, smartphones, tablets, office equipment, camera, televisions, air conditioners, software services and other accessories to customers across Bangladesh since 2007. The exclusive facilities under its deal with Grameenphone shall remain available for the STAR customers till June 30, 2023.

ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশের কানেক্টিভিটি পার্টনার গ্রামীণফোন সম্প্রতি স্বনামধন্য টেক রিটেইলার স্টার টেক অ্যান্ড ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং লিমিটেডের সাথে একটি চুক্তি স্বাক্ষর করেছে। এ চুক্তির আওতায়, জিপি স্টার গ্রাহকরা ব্র্যান্ড ও সেলার অ্যাসুরেন্স সহ ডিসকাউন্টে ইলেকট্রনিক ও ডিজিটাল ডিভাইস কিনতে পারবেন।

এ চুক্তি অনুযায়ী, গ্রামীণফোনের স্টার গ্রাহকরা (জিপি স্টার) স্টার টেক অ্যান্ড ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং লিমিটেড থেকে নির্দিষ্ট পণ্য ক্রয়ের ক্ষেত্রে ৩৫ শতাংশ ছাড় সুবিধা পাবেন। পাশাপাশি, তারা যেকোনো পণ্য ক্রয়ে ৫ শতাংশ ছাড় (৫০০ টাকা পর্যন্ত) সুবিধা উপভোগ করতে পারবেন। এছাড়াও, এ চুক্তির আওতায় ল্যাপটপ ক্রয়ে গ্রাহকরা আকর্ষণীয় ছাড় সুবিধা উপভোগ করবেন।

রাজধানীর বাংলামোটরে অবস্থিত স্টার টেকের প্রধান কার্যালয়ে এ চুক্তি স্বাক্ষর অনুষ্ঠানটি সম্পন্ন হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে গ্রামীণফোনের হেড অব মার্কেটিং (প্রিমিয়াম সেগমেন্ট) সাব্বির আহমেদ ও স্টার টেক এর ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক মাজহারুল আলম নিজ নিজ প্রতিষ্ঠানের পক্ষে চুক্তিতে স্বাক্ষর করেন।  

গ্রামীণফোনের হেড অব মার্কেটিং (প্রিমিয়াম সেগমেন্ট) সাব্বির আহমেদ বলেন, “সম্মানিত গ্রাহকদের সর্বোচ্চ সুবিধা দিতে গ্রামীণফোন সব সময় বিভিন্ন সুবিধা নিয়ে আসে। স্টার টেকের সাথে এ পার্টনারশিপ আমাদের সম্মানিত গ্রাহকদের সেরা দামে পছন্দমতো ইলেকট্রনিক ও ডিজিটাল ডিভাইস কিনতে সহায়তা করবে; পাশাপাশি, ডিজিটাল কানেক্টিভিটির এ যুগে তাদের বিকাশমান ডিজিটাল চাহিদা পূরণেও সহায়তা করবে। স্টার টেকের সুনাম এবং এ পার্টনারশিপ গ্রাহকদের জন্য বিশেষ সুবিধা নিয়ে আসতে ভূমিকা রেখেছে।”   

স্টার টেকের ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক মাজহারুল আলম বলেন, “দেশের ডিজিটাল এনাবলার হিসেবে গ্রামীণফোন এর গ্রাহকদের সর্বোচ্চ সুবিধা দেয়ার চেষ্টা করে। মানসম্পন্ন পণ্য সরবরাহ ও সেবাদানের ক্ষেত্রে স্টার টেকে আমরা সবসময় আমাদের ক্রেতাদের প্রাধান্য দিয়ে বিবেচনা করি। এবং এ পার্টনারশিপ ক্রেতাদের তাদের পছন্দের ইলেকট্রনিক ও ডিজিটাল ডিভাইস কিনতে ভূমিকা রাখবে। দু’ পক্ষের জন্যই এ পার্টনারশিপ ফলপ্রসূ হবে, যা ক্রেতাদের সন্তুষ্টি বাড়ানোর মাধ্যমে ব্র্যান্ডের সুনাম বৃদ্ধিতেও ভূমিকা রাখবে।”
