Signing of a grant agreement concerning the provision of CPAP and BIPAP equipment for public hospitals in Bangladesh under Covid-19 restore program
Dhaka, September 03 2021:
A grant agreement of US$ Fifty Thousand has been signed on 3rd September, 2021 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan between the Government of the people’s Republic of Bangladesh and Islamic International Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC).
Fatima Yasmin, Secretary, Economic Relations Division (ERD) and Engineer Hani Salem Sonbol, Chief Executive Officer, International Islamic trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) signed the grant agreement on behalf of Bangladesh & ITFC respectively. Md. Tofazzel Hossain Miah, Secretary, Prime Minister’s Office was present there.
The grant amount will be used for the procurement of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) and Bl-level Positive Airway Pressure (BIPAP) equipments for public hospitals in Bangladesh under Covid-19 restore program.
Islamic International Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) is a longstanding development partner of Bangladesh. They provide finance in different sectors of Bangladesh, especially for petroleum products.
