Kaniz Fatema joined as the first CEO of BDOSN
Dhaka November 2, 2021:
One of the biggest ICT for Development based organization Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) has named Kaniz Fatema as its first chief executive officer. Kaniz’s appointment, effective from November 1 this year, comes as part of BdOSN’s ongoing efforts towards expanding its projects and programs and developing more ICT resources in Bangladesh.
Kaniz has 16 years+ of working experience in diversified areas including manufacturing industries, development fields, media and telecom sector. Prior to join in BdOSN, she worked as a General Manager, Innovation & Digital Services at Robi Axiata Limited. She also worked in different fucntions of Grameenphone Limited for 11 years.
Kaniz is the elected Vice President-IT Corporate of Bangladesh Women in Technology (BWIT).She is a TEDx speaker. She also hosts different business and corporate shows in online and TV media.
Kaniz Fatema received MBA from North South University and BBA from IBA, Jahangirnagar University with outstanding academic track record. She completed her diploma on ‘Telenor Core Leadership Training’ from Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden.
