Official urges Iran-Turkey cooperation on citizenship rights

Dhaka August 28 2022 (IRNA) :

Zabihollah Khodaian made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Şeref Malkoç.

He stressed the importance of ombudsman activities and citizenship rights, saying that the international developments and the experiences of the ombudsman pave the way for creating new plans to improve performance.

He referred to ombudsman convergence in the framework of neighborhood geography as a suitable context for achieving the mentioned objective on August 27 2022.

The great position of these two countries in geographical, demographic, economic, political, security, and cultural dimensions and the level of their relations is an exceptional opportunity to exchange experiences and information and to cooperate in various fields, including ombudsman issues, he stated.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Khodaian called for fighting Western states’ breach of human rights through creating convergence among Islamic countries’ ombudsmen.

Meanwhile, Malkoç stressed developing political, economic, and cultural cooperation between Iran and Turkey.

He described exchanging information between the two countries as a way to better implement experiences and develop relations.

He underlined the Islamic countries’ need for legal support.
