President visits Gurudayal Govt College in Kishoreganj

 

Dhaka November 19 2021 (BSS) :

President M Abdul Hamid today visited the Gurudayal Government College in Kishoreganj, on Nov 18, 2021.

The head of the state was the student leader of the college in late sixties.

Earlier, he witnessed the PowerPoint presentation of Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center at Kishoreganj Circuit House.

The President was apprised of various aspects of Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center to be constructed there.

The project will be implemented by the ICT department involving Taka 70 crore with the aim of building skilled manpower and creating self-employment.

Lauding the initiative to set up an IT Training and Incubation Center, the President said it would pave the way for creating efficient human sources.

The President stressed on taking initiative from the very beginning to ensure the quality of world class training.

Lawmakers Md Afzal Hossain and Rezwan Ahammad Taufiq, senior secretary of ICT Department and secretaries concerned to the President were present on the occasion.

The President returned the capital city this afternoon wrapping up his the seven-day visit to Kishoreganj.
