A Reception held on July 05 2022 in Dhaka to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Independence of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
Maxim Dobrokhotov, Director of the Russian House in Dhaka, attended the program with the special invitation of the Ambassador of Algeria, HE Rabah Larbi.
He congratulated Algerian High Representative and the peoples of Algeria on this historical day. Honorable Minister of Education of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Dr. Dipu Moni MP was present as the Chief Guest on the occasion as well as other Bengali officials and diplomats from different countries.
During the ceremony, the Director of the Russian House in Dhaka spoke to the Honorable Minister Dr. Dipu Moni about interstate cooperation in the educational area, especially regarding scholarships provided by the Russian Government, mentioning that under the supervision of the Russian House in Dhaka their number has been increased from 45 to 70 within last two years and which is likely to be over 100 in the 2023-2024 academic year.
It was also fruitful exchange of points of view with MP Mrs. Aroma Dutta. She recalled her visit to the Russian House in Dhaka during her student life spoke about her participation in significant Soviet film shows and hoped to attend Russian House events in the future.
