Russian President greeted President of India Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi

 

Dhaka August 15 2022 :

 

Greetings to President of India Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.

Vladimir Putin sent greetings to President of India Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on the 75th anniversary of the country’s independence.

The message reads, in part:

“In the decades since your country became independent, it has achieved widely acknowledged progress in a variety of areas, including the economy, social sphere, science and technology. India by right enjoys considerable authority on the world stage, playing a constructive role in solving urgent issues on the international agenda.

The Russia-India relationship is developing in the spirit of a privileged strategic partnership. Moscow and New Delhi are cooperating successfully in various areas and interacting effectively as part of the UN, BRICS, SCO and other multilateral structures.

I am certain that our joint efforts will ensure continued development of the entire set of the fruitful Russian-Indian ties for the benefit of our two nations and in the interests of strengthening regional and global security and stability.”

 

Condolences to Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan

 

Vladimir Putin sent his condolences to Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.

The message reads, in part:

“Please accept my deepest condolences over the death of people as a result of a fire in a shopping centre in Yerevan.

Please convey my words of sincere sympathy and support to the families of those killed and wishes for a speedy recovery to all the injured.”

 

Condolences to President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi

 

Vladimir Putin sent a message of condolences to President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

The message reads, in part:

“Mr President, my dear friend,

I would like to express my sincere condolences over the tragic consequences of the fire that broke out at the Abu Sefein church in Giza.

We share the grief of the victims’ families and friends and hope for a speedy recovery of all the injured.”
