UN Special Envoy called on Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen

Dhaka August 23 2022 :
The UN Special Envoy on Myanmar Noeleen Heyzer called on the Foreign Secretary (Senior Secretary) Ambassador Masud Bin Momen this afternoon at State Guest House Padma, on August 22 2022.
Ms Heyzer acknowledged the exemplary leadership role the Government of Bangladesh is playing by providing humanitarian support for Rohingyas in Bangladesh.
She stressed on the necessity of the support of Myanmar Government, global and regional partners to create an environment conducive for repatriation in the Rakhine State of Myanmar, said a release of MOFA Bangladesh.
The Foreign Secretary highlighted on the importance of keeping focus of the global community on the Rohingya crisis, giving sustainable repartriation of the Rohingyas the top priority, creating a conducive environment in Rakhine for repatriation.
