Vladimir Putin congratulated coal industry workers on Miners’ Day

Dhaka August 28 2022 :

Vladimir Putin congratulated coal industry workers and veterans on their professional holiday, Miners’ Day on August 28, 2022.

The message reads, in part:

“This year marks 75 years of your wonderful professional holiday, which is widely celebrated not only in coal-producing regions, but all over Russia.

You are rightfully proud of the names and extraordinary achievements of your predecessors, your celebrated mining traditions and, of course, the traditions of valiant and devoted labour and team spirit.

It is gratifying that the present generation of coal industry workers is giving their all to the profession, and making a sizable contribution to strengthening our country’s industrial might and energy security and to the resolution of some of the most important social issues.”
